Shatta Wale is not resting on his oars to get all the benefit from his collaboration with Beyonce on the song ‘Already’ off her new album The Lion King: The King which was dropped today few hours ago.
Shatta Wale has therefore urged Ghanaians to hype the song through whatever means so Beyonce will be compelled to shoot a video with her and subsequently take him on a tour.
He told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM:
Before I say anything, I want to say that, when one Ghanaian wins, it’s a win for all of us. We should set that example for other artistes. No one should insult anyone. The fans should understand that this is a celebration”.
“Ghanaians should go all out to promote this song, the should hype it and if the song is trending worldwide, it will force Beyoncé to also shoot video for the song and also carry me on World Tour because the song is Worldwide hit.”
Beyonce says the album features many acts from Africa because she wants it to be about authentic music from the continent.
“I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa and not just use some of the sound or my own interpretation of it,” she told CNN.
