The Kade Circuit Court has remanded into police custody 23-year-old Solomon Acheampong for allegedly insulting the chief of Kobriso Nana Bafgour Kofi Bio.
According to snippets of information gathered by MyNewsGh.com, Solomon Acheampong is reported to have clashed with the chief over the lease of part of the Atewa Forest for galamsey activities.
In the process, he was said to have used insulting words on the traditional ruler saying he was not fit to occupy the stool as an illiterate who never saw the four walls of a classroom.
